We are happy to kick off 2020 with a new signing. Check out Fauves now!
Fauves are an indie-pop band from Glasgow, Scotland, who blend elements of funk, soul and jazz throughout their music. Fauves have been likened to MGMT and Metronomy by BBC Radio Scotland’s Vic Galloway, with the band citing everything from disco records and the smooth yacht rock of Steely Dan, through to 90’s hip hop and R&B, as well as Tame Impala and Unknown Mortal Orchestra amongst their influences.
The group have gigged around the UK building a reputation as a bouncing live act, yet sonically incomparable to many of their peers in Glasgow’s music scene. They ventured off on their first headline UK tour in Spring of 2019, and opened the run of gigs with a memorable sold out debut English show at London's Sebright Arms, with other packed out shows all over the UK, culminating in a sold out show at Glasgow’s 400 Cap G2 venue.
Since the start of the year, they’ve taken to the stage at a number of major, tastemaking festivals including Tramlines, Playground, xPo North, Outwith and Indian Summer, sharing the stage with the likes of Lauryn Hill, Courtney Barnett, De La Soul, Baxter Dury, The Babe Rainbow and Annie Mac, and most recently sold out their second London date at The Finsbury at the beginning of October.
We are super excited to be working with this very talented bunch and can't wait to put their masterpieces out to the world.
